The magician proposes something different for the last card. He rubs the remaining blank card against the final selection and then rubs the blank against the other three selections. The other selections all turn into mates of the final card!

No Longer -- Four completely blank cards are shown. The spectator mentally selects a King, let's say it's the King of Spades. When the magician runs through the cards, it is seen that they have printed a King of Spades. Then all of the cards turn into Kings of Spades!
The magician places one of the Kings of Spades aside, gives the packet a snap and claims that the rest of the cards are “no longer kings”. The spectators are doubtful... until the magician turns the other three cards over revealing that each card has a word boldly written on it: NO LONGER KINGS!

Wilderness --- The magician has two cards selected from a red deck, let's say the Ten of Spades and the Seven of Diamonds. He then introduces a packet of five blue backed Jokers. One Joker is placed aside.
The Ten of Spades is cut into the packet of Jokers. The packet is given a shake and the Ten is then placed aside. When the magician runs through the blue backed packet, all of the Jokers have transformed into Tens of Spades!
The Seven is then cut into the packet and then removed. When the magician runs through the packet, the cards are all now Sevens of Diamonds!
The packet is waved over the Ten. Two of the cards turn back into Tens.
The magician then says, "Now, obviously, the selections can influence the Jokers. But the Jokers can also influence the selections." With that, the magician rubs the remaining Joker on the face of the two red backed selections. They turn into Jokers! All of the cards may now be examined.
