Effect:
The magician pulls out a deck of cards and states that he made a prediction in the deck earlier. A card is freely chosen (really!) and placed face down on the table. The magician does not see the face of the card and neither does the spectator. The magician runs through the deck and removes two cards which he says will tell him the value and suit of the selected card. Let's say the two cards are the Five of Spades and the Queen of Diamonds. This could mean that the selection is the Five of Diamonds or the Queen of Spades...
The selected card is turned face up. It is the Eight of Clubs. The experiment appears to have failed... until the the Five and the Queen are turned face down. One has an Eight drawn on its back and the other has a Club drawn on its back!
